Sometimes the server is opened (as evident by the success message after using /e4mc stop), but the initial domain message is not displayed in chat. Workarounds and reasons not known yet.
Maybe add more logging for it?

The mod should display at least some message, such as "The local game could not be hosted on a domain at the moment, please try again later.", and not allow /e4mc stop because it shouldn't "start" in the first place.

im running into this same issue quite reliably when using e4mc alongside the custom lan mod as its quite easy to start and stop the lan server frequently with it

okay this is very hard to troubleshoot
I'm currently assuming it's the relay getting a bit overloaded but I can't know for sure
